Astec Paints claims that through these reductions in urban heat and therefore improved energy efficiency, CO2 emissions will be reduced.
There are 12 different Energy Star paints, some of them with the option of choosing between gloss, low sheen and non-skid.
Astec Paints also sells a range of other paints that are claimed to be low in VOCs.
