ecospecifier South Africa ( www.ecospecifier.co.za) was launched on the 21st of April 2009. The launch took place at a one-day seminar at the Nedbank BOE Clocktower, V & A Waterfront, in association with the Cape Institute of Architecture. Speakers will dealt with a range of topics from the introduction of the Green Building Guidelines from the City of Cape Town, the Green Star SA Office Version 1 rating tool by the GBCSA, Energy & Climate change, Green Building Case studies, densification, Cape Town’s new zoning scheme, insulation and building plan approval.
