The knowledge engine room of ecospecifier is the Global Research Hub - our technical team who analyse and evaluate the ecological and health value of the thousands of building materials, technologies and fit out products, which are submitted each year by product manufacturers for ecospecification. The Research Hub follows a robust, verification methodology that includes testing materials against criteria such as Life Cycle Analysis, Embodied Energy Evaluation and Greenhouse Gas Impacts.

Watching over this verification process is The Product Standards Group that comprises international renowned materials, life cycle, toxics, sustainability, standards and specifications experts.  This group assists our research team to identify, set and update standards for the full range of products, materials and technologies that ecospecifier covers.
