ecologically aware built environments began in Australia in 2003
and its unique approach to greening the built environment is now
established globally, attracting annual interest from around the

Excellence
'As an online building product
assessment database, Ecospecifier helps users to
select building materials based on the assessment of their
environmental and health impacts, fitness for purpose and
availability. The company also operates as a green building
consultancy.
'What sets
Ecospecifier apart from its competitors is the
assessment of products to less than 0.1 per cent of content and the
verification of all manufacturer claims by third party assessors.
ecospecifier also provides additional assessments undertaken
against the Green Building rating tools relevant to the country or
region.
'This means manufacturers are able
to directly link their products to the rating systems and to the
specifiers and green building professionals who will use their
products. Professionals using the site receive third party advice
and cut their research time by over 90 per cent.
'The products are then promoted via
the Ecospecifier websites in Australia, New
Zealand, the UAE, South Africa, South East Asia and China.
